Mary Remmy Njoku was born and raised in Mile 2 Estate, Amuwo Odofin, Festac, Lagos State, Nigeria, where she completed her primary school education and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. After completing her primary school education, Mary Remmy Njoku attended Amuwo Odofin High School and Navy Town Secondary School both in Lagos State, Nigeria and obtained her West African Senior School Certificate. She also has a diploma in Computer Science.

Mary Remmy Njoku joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in the late 2000s and made her acting debut in the movie titled “Home Sickness” which she featured in alongside with Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha. Mary Remmy Njoku rose to fame after acting in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Blackberry Babes” a movie that brought her to limelight and gave her a lot of advantage in Nollywood. Remmy Njoku is currently the CEO of Roc Nation, a movie production company which she used to produce blockbusters movies like Husbands of Lagos, Desperate House Girls, Losing Control and Cougars. She has also produced and released several movies.

The wedding ceremony was attended by several movie and music industry players such as Mercy Aigbe, Emem Isong, Oge Okoye, Mercy Johnson, 2Shotz, amongst many others. The couple met about two years ago and has been engaged for the past six months before finally settling down on 18th August 2012.
